NDA One-Time Registration (OTR)

One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory to fill the NDA application form. Candidates need to register only once in a lifetime, and with the login ID and password, they can apply for all UPSC exams. The portal is open all year round.

If candidates have already registered, they can directly proceed to fill the application form.

Information Required for OTR

Candidates need to enter:

• Name
• Gender
• Date of Birth
• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Minority Status
• Valid Mobile Number
• Board Examination Roll Number
• Security Questions

Candidates must verify all the details in the OTR. After registration, candidates can access their dashboard to check personal details, apply for active notifications, and view application status.

How to Apply for OTR?

• Visit the official website of UPSC
• Register through the OTR portal by clicking on the ‘New Registration’ button
• After registration, log in using email ID / mobile number / OTR ID to verify the OTR
• Go to the ‘Latest Notification’ tab
• Apply for the desired exam

NDA Application Form 2025

The NDA application form has two parts: Part I and Part II. Below is the step-by-step guide to fill both parts of the NDA application form.

NDA Application Form 2025 – Part I

Part I of the NDA application form is divided into four pages:

1. Candidate’s Registration
2. Choosing Branch Preference
3. Verifying Details
4. Generation of Registration ID

Page 1: Candidate’s Registration

Enter the following details:

• Personal details: Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Aadhaar Number, Nationality, Marital Status, Community, etc.
• Educational Qualification: Choose from four options via dropdown
• Address: Complete communication address, email ID, and mobile number

Page 2: Choosing Branch Preferences

• Choose your preferred branches: Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy
• Mark preferences in the order from 1 to 4
• Mention if you are a student of Sainik/Military School or son of JCO/NCO/Other Rank Officer
• Click ‘Continue’ to proceed

Page 3: Verify the Details

• Verify all details filled in the form
• No correction is allowed after submission
• Click the checkbox to agree to terms and conditions

Page 4: Generation of Registration ID

• Registration ID is displayed on the screen
• Other details such as name, father’s name, DOB, email ID are also shown
• Registration ID is also sent to the registered email ID

NDA Application Form 2025 – Part II

In Part II, candidates need to:

• Pay the application fee
• Select the exam centre
• Upload scanned images of photograph and signature

NDA Online Form Fee

The application fee can be paid online or offline.

Payment Modes:

• Online: Credit card / Debit card / Net banking
• Offline: Take printout of the Pay-in-slip during Part II registration and pay at SBI counter on the next working day

Note: Fees once paid are not refunded.

Selection of Exam Centre

• Candidates can choose three exam centres
• Centres are allotted on a first-apply-first-allot basis

Uploading Photograph, Signature & Photo ID

• Upload scanned images of photograph, signature, and photo-identity proof
• File size should be between 20 KB and 300 KB
